Sam is continually excited, challenged and honored by the task of learning and reinterpreting the great basslines of Chuck Rainey, Walter Becker, Anthony Jackson and Marcus Miller as bassist for this awesome band.

Sam’s professional music career started on guitar, found its way to bass and piano, and then somewhere along the way his passion for wind and brass instruments developed. He showcases his ability on all these instruments and more via his Christian music ministry, which features original jazzy biblically-themed songs. Sam is particularly excited about his latest CD, “Go To Nineveh”.

Sam is the bassist for another Long Island favorite, Sir Duke, playing the great music of Stevie Wonder. You might recognize a few of their members as well…

 

Trained in illustration and graphic design at The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, Sam is the Senior Art Director and Designer for a well-established design house on Long Island.
