Phil has worked as a commercial trumpet player in the Tri-State area for over 40 years.  He has enjoyed a career playing Broadway and Off-Broadway shows for 38 years.  Phil has been the Music Director/Lead Trumpet/Arranger/Road Manager for “Jay Black & The Americans” since May of 1989.  He is currently performing in the Off-Broadway hit “Cagney, the Musical” at the Westside Theatre.

One of his most enjoyable musical endeavors is playing with “FM-A Steely Dan Tribute”.  Phil has been a member of this group since November of 2004.

Phil lives in Nassau County, Long Island with his wife Leslie and their four children.
